- Two minutes. No account is needed for the first run.
Check your nursing resume
1. Open the checker
First check is anonymous — no account.
2. Upload your resume
PDF, DOCX or image (OCR), or paste the text.
3. Enter your nursing target role
ICU nurse, school nurse, nurse practitioner — each expects different keywords.
4. Review the credential gap
The report lists missing certifications and clinical terms for that role.
5. Fix formatting and re-check
Apply the suggestions, then confirm the score moved.
What the output looks like
A clean table you can import — not a wall of text you have to re-key.
Sample report
0–100Illustrative output. Your scores depend on the role you target.
Supported banks and formats
The parser is trained on statement layouts, not one bank's template. These are the most common; anything with a table and a balance column is worth trying.
Credential formatting parsers understand
Healthcare screening is unusually credential-driven. Format yours so both parsers and recruiters find them:
- Spell out plus abbreviate
- Write “Basic Life Support (BLS)” and “Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)” so both the long and short forms match searches.
- A dedicated certifications section
- Group licenses and certifications with issuing bodies and dates — parsers index labeled sections far better than scattered mentions.
- License numbers off the resume
- Put license numbers on the application form, not the resume: parsers mangle them, and it's sensitive data you don't need to broadcast.
- Specialties and units as plain text
- “Med-Surg”, “ICU”, “L&D” plus their expansions — unit names are frequent search terms in healthcare screening.
- Sensitive file, deleted fast
- Your resume contains personal health-adjacent data — the checker deletes uploaded files immediately after processing, so nothing is retained.
Nursing FAQ
Should I include my license number on my resume?
No. State the license type and status (“Registered Nurse, active license”) and provide the number on the employer's application form, where it belongs. On a resume it adds parsing noise and exposes sensitive data.
Which keywords matter for an ICU nurse resume?
Typically the certifications (BLS, ACLS, often CCRN), the unit and patient-ratio context, and clinical skills like ventilator management. Run the check with “ICU nurse” as the target role — the missing-keyword list shows your specific gaps.
Does the checker store my license or personal data?
No. Uploaded resume files are processed and deleted immediately; nothing from your document is retained after you get the report.
